Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sweetwater at 300 Southeast Georgia Avenue, Sweetwater, Texas.

The bed was decent. The breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly enough however I have a host of other complaints and we will not be staying here again. Firstly, we had to swipe our key card a dozen times or more to get the back door of the hotel open. The door handle was also loose and hanging. My guess would be from people jerking on it because it doesn't read their key cards. Then, the elevetor would hiss and drop half the time we tried to get in it. The buttons wouldn't always work. We had to press the first floor button several times to get it to move. Our room was covered in black hair. My children (1 year and 2 years) were covered in the hair from playing on the carpeted area. I wet a towel and wiped down the bathroom floor because it was also covered in hair and some sort of opaque grime. When I say "covered " I mean there were close to 100 hairs stuck to the floor in the bathroom. There wasn't any soap in the bathroom just the empty ripped open packages from the previous guests. One of the bedside lamps and the entryway light were burned out. The window vent was covered in broken plastic and lint balls and lastly, the coffee wasn't restocked in the room.
We travel a lot and usually love to stay with Holiday Inn but this is the worst one we have been to so far.
